Ariani Exclusive Preview 2014

I'm very sure every woman in Malaysia is familiar with this huge brand. They are the pioneers of  the classic 'tudung awning' as people like to call it. They are one of the most celebrated hijab brands in Malaysia with their wide range of exclusive scarves that are famous for it's design and quality. I was one of the few who were lucky enough to attend an exclusive preview of Ariani's latest collection, which took place yesterday at The Doubletree by Hilton, Kuala Lumpur.

It was indeed a splendid event filled with surprises and excitement! As many of you might know, Ariani first ambassador was Ekin Mawi, followed by the sweet Wardina Saffiyah. Well since Wardina is moving to Australia, Ariani has decided to choose a new ambassador. Can you guess who she is?? (keep guessing..i'll tell you the answer in a little bit..:p)

After the multimedia presentation, guests were presented with Ariani's new collection by beautiful models on the runway. The fashion show's concept was 'Glam Exclusive' and 'Chic Casual'. The show featured Ariani's classic design which is the 'tudung awning' design in hues of red, pink, mustard, green and many more with details of Swarovski beading. Such exclusive detailing for it's affordable price. The show also featured other designs like selendang crumple, selendang lace, selandang embroidery and so much more!

What I love about this brand is that they have high standards when it comes to the quality of the product, not to mention it's intricate and lush beadings that are sewn with superb workmanship! I was lucky enough to get a goodie bag with a beautiful Ariani piece in it(will blog about in an outfit post later insyaAllah!)

Desert anyone? The food was great too!

One of the highlights of the event was the lucky draw. I was so excited to see the winners(registered Ariani card holders) who went home with amazing prizes such as iPhone 5S, carpet worth RM5000, and Ariani vouchers worth up to RM1000. They have it every year in conjunction with Ariani's year end sale 2013. If you haven't signed up yet, go and sign up and you can be in the running of winning all these amazing prizes next year! All you have to do is shop, fill the form and drop it in the lucky draw box.

Another amazing highlight of the evening was the bidding of 3 of Ariani's one of a kind designs. The 3 scarves were bid at the price of RM3500, RM7000 and even RM10,000! Best part is that the bidders get to keep the scarves, and the bidding money is donated to the less fortunate.

Afterwards, the audience was surprised with a special appearance by Malaysia's sweetheart, Dato' Siti Nurhaliza. I was surprised and couldn't contain my excitement when I saw her!! She wore one of Ariani's classic designs and looked absolutely lovely in it! I was in absolute awe watching her sing and her beauty masyaAllah. No wonder Ariani chose her as their icon. How can you not love her!

The surprise doesn't just stop there, it was announced that she will be the icon of Galeri Ariani featuring an exclusive collection called 'Siti Nurhaliza Collection by Ariani' which will be available starting 21st March 2014. If you're an Ariani card member holder, you will get further markdown on the items! This collaboration with Ariani will last untill Ramadhan to make way for another RTW collaboration with Jakel and Dato' Siti herself!

As soon as the main event ended, I attended the press conference and had the chance to hear more about these collaborations with Ariani representative, Dato' Siti, Wardina, Jakel representative and the new face of Ariani, Nurul Shuhada Nurul Ain! (did you guess right? :P)

I was so happy to get the chance to meet both the beautiful personalities, both kind and down to earth, masyaAllah. Btw, the scarf worn by Dato' Siti is part of her collection by Ariani. Love the design!! I want one tooo!! hehe
